OLD PARR..

I captured this old boat during a drive through the beautiful Florida Keys. gis is one of those afternoon/evenings during the weekend when I feel like I've lost all hope of getting a nice landscape shot, I'm packing all my gear after realizing that there will be no overwhelming show of light and colors and, just before I put all my stuff in the back seat, I turn around and see this old boat, the light appears to be hitting it just at the right angle and it is just the right amount. In a split second I think to myself, nah!, colors are just not there, but then, black and white comes to mind, and I think, yeah!, why not, lets just try a black and white shot here, if it doesn't work, it doesn't, but I'll give it a try!.
I had been looking at this in my files for quite some time until it grew on me. So here it is, I like how this came out, B&W was right!, or so it seems to me.
I love old beat up boats. I always tell my friends (photographers) that I would just love a trip to a place like New England, what a place for old boats!.
Hope you all are doing fine, as always I thank you for stopping by and looking, I appreciate your comments and critiques.
